Overview

DebtOptimizerHub is a calculator, financial-education, and planning-software website. Public calculators do not require an account. An account is available for the Debt Payoff Planner. Calculator entries are processed in your browser and are not sent to Google Analytics as calculator inputs or result values.

Shared calculator links can contain scenario values in the URL. Google Analytics page-view tracking is configured to omit the URL query string, but anyone who receives a shared link may be able to view the values contained in that link.

We aim to minimize data collection and use information only to operate, secure, measure, and improve the site, provide requested email content, and support the advertising or referral features described in this policy.

Information we may collect automatically

We may collect limited information automatically through standard web technologies, including:

Optional accounts and authentication

If you create an account, your email address, account identifier, email-confirmation status, authentication timestamps, and related account-security information are processed through Supabase Auth. DebtOptimizerHub uses this information to create and secure the account, restore signed-in sessions, send account-confirmation and password-recovery messages, and provide account-related support.

Passwords are submitted directly to Supabase Auth. DebtOptimizerHub does not receive or store your plaintext password. Supabase stores and verifies password credentials using its authentication service.

Supabase Auth stores session information in your browser so that your signed-in session can be restored after a page reload. Session information can include an access token, refresh token, account identifier, and session-expiration information. Signing out removes the active Supabase session from that browser.

Account-confirmation and password-recovery messages are initiated through Supabase Auth and delivered through DebtOptimizerHub's Zoho Mail SMTP account. Supabase and Zoho Mail may process the recipient address, message content, delivery attempts, and related routing or security information needed to deliver those messages.

When you use the signed-in Debt Payoff Planner, the plan information described below is linked to your Supabase account so it can be restored and synchronized across supported devices. Subscription entitlement is also linked to the account, but plan contents are kept separate from Stripe billing records.

Calculator information and browser storage

Calculator balances, APRs, payments, credit limits, fees, payoff targets, and calculated results are processed in your browser. These financial values are not included in the custom events that DebtOptimizerHub sends to Google Analytics.

Some calculators use browser storage, including local storage or session storage, to remember entries, restore a recently calculated scenario, or pass information from one calculator to another. This information remains within your browser unless you choose to share a generated scenario link. You can remove browser-stored information by clearing site data through your browser settings.

Shared calculator links may place scenario information in the link's query string. Do not share a calculator link unless you are comfortable allowing the recipient to view the values included in it.

Debt Payoff Planner data

For signed-in users, Supabase is the authoritative data store for Debt Payoff Planner plans. Stored information can include plan names, debt names and types, balances, APRs and scheduled APR changes, entered payments, payment due days, payoff assumptions and goals, legacy future monthly budget overrides from the retired feature, individual payment records and notes, original projection baselines, saved scenario snapshots, monthly progress check-ins, milestones, plan-version history, legacy Planner-history records from retired features, and planner settings. Row Level Security restricts browser access to records associated with the authenticated Supabase account. The Planner's Current projection is derived from persisted Plan assumptions and the latest valid Progress check-in when the Planner loads or rerenders; it is not a separate authoritative balance record, and individual payment records do not independently become its authoritative source.

If you enable optional Debt Payoff Planner email reminders, DebtOptimizerHub may send your account email address and limited reminder content, such as a saved debt name, due date, scheduled APR-change date, or monthly check-in reminder, to the configured transactional email-delivery provider for delivery. Reminder emails do not include saved balances, payment amounts, or calculated payoff results. You can disable Planner email reminders in the product settings.

The planner also stores a working cache in IndexedDB in the browser. A planner action is written to the browser cache first and then synchronized with Supabase. This supports fast local updates and limited offline use when the account has a recently verified paid entitlement. Free-trial access is verified online and does not become indefinite offline access. When you sign in on another supported device, the planner loads cloud records that the account's current access level permits and rebuilds its local cache. The current cloud-synced Planner does not automatically migrate older browser-only plans into an account merely because you sign in; use available recovery controls before clearing browser storage.

The synchronization system uses record versions and server timestamps to avoid automatically overwriting newer cloud data. If two devices edit the same plan from different versions, the planner can ask you to use the cloud version or keep the browser edits as a separate recovered copy. Temporary connection or synchronization errors leave the browser copy available and can be retried.

Clearing browser site data removes the local cache but does not by itself delete plan data stored in Supabase. After you sign in again, cloud plans can be restored when the account's Planner access at that time permits them to be viewed. Use the planner's deletion controls when available, or contact DebtOptimizerHub for account-data requests. Deleting planner data does not cancel a Stripe subscription, and canceling a subscription does not automatically delete planner data.

The Debt Payoff Planner provides downloadable backup and import features to active paid subscribers. Importing a backup requires active Planner write access, adds its plans to the account you are currently signed in to, and does not automatically replace existing cloud plans. When a backup plan uses an identifier that already exists in the account, the imported version is retained as a separate recovered copy with new identifiers. Subscription entitlement is not imported from backup files. Active free-trial users may use the Planner interactively but cannot create exports. If a never-paid trial expires, Planner access is locked while saved cloud data remains stored so it can become available again if the account later subscribes. A customer who has successfully paid at least once and later loses active paid access may view previously stored Planner data in read-only mode, but cannot make changes, run new interactive planning calculations, import backups, or create new exports until paid access is reactivated. If you choose a password-encrypted backup while actively subscribed, encryption and decryption occur in your browser. DebtOptimizerHub cannot recover a forgotten backup password.

Email subscriptions

Some calculator result pages offer an optional email course. Calculator results and other standard calculator features, including printable reports where available, remain available without subscribing.

If you submit an email signup form, the email address and any other information you voluntarily enter in that form are sent to EmailOctopus, our email service provider. We use that information to deliver the email course and any related messages described when you subscribe.

Calculator balances, APRs, payments, fees, credit limits, savings estimates, payoff periods, and other calculated values are not automatically attached to the EmailOctopus signup form.

EmailOctopus may process subscription and delivery information, including confirmation status, delivery attempts, bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribe requests. When email measurement features are enabled, EmailOctopus may also report whether an email was opened or whether a link in an email was clicked.

Each email in the course includes an unsubscribe option. After you unsubscribe, EmailOctopus may retain an unsubscribed status for the address so that it is not accidentally added back to future mailings.

For more information about how EmailOctopus handles information, visit EmailOctopus's privacy policy.

Subscriptions, billing, and entitlement records

Eligible verified accounts receive one application-managed seven-day Planner trial beginning when the verified account first opens the Planner. No payment method is required to start that trial, no Stripe subscription is created solely for the trial, and no automatic charge occurs when the trial expires. DebtOptimizerHub stores the trial start and end timestamps and a durable record of whether the account has successfully paid for the Planner. That paid-history record is established from confirmed positive subscription-payment information and is used to distinguish former paying customers from trial-only accounts.

Debt Payoff Planner subscriptions use Stripe Managed Payments for checkout and transaction processing. In Managed Payments, Link acts as the merchant of record at checkout, and Stripe manages indirect tax compliance, fraud prevention, disputes, transaction-level customer support, receipts, and related transaction administration. Information you submit during checkout is sent directly to Stripe and Link and is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices.

DebtOptimizerHub may receive and store limited billing information needed to operate the subscription, including a Stripe customer identifier, subscription identifier, product and price identifiers, subscription status, billing-period dates, cancellation status, and webhook event identifiers. These records are linked to the Supabase account identifier used for the Debt Payoff Planner. They do not include the balances, APRs, payments, notes, or other contents of your debt plan.

DebtOptimizerHub does not receive complete payment-card numbers. Stripe and DebtOptimizerHub may retain transaction and subscription records as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support, dispute handling, security, and legal compliance.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand page visits, navigation, downloads, and general feature use. Google Analytics may process information such as session activity, approximate location, and browser or device information.

DebtOptimizerHub may send general behavioral events indicating that:

These events may include general identifiers such as the calculator name, page category, form identifier, product version, placement location, export type, scenario type, or a coarse check-in sequence category. They do not include email addresses, payment-card information, debt names, calculator balances, APRs, payments, fees, credit limits, debt amounts, scenario assumptions, notes, savings results, payoff periods, progress variance, or other calculated outcomes.

Page-view tracking uses the page path without the URL query string.
